【40代主婦の挑戦】英語を話せるようになりたい！英語日記2週目＊自分のことなので勉強になります

こんにちは。シンプリストを目指す主婦、まいかです。

毎日3行の英語日記を書いてみて、自分のことなので勉強になります。

今まで単語を暗記するにしても、いつ使うか分からないので覚えられませんでした。

自分の日常を英語にするので、単語を調べるのも苦になりません。

まだ始めたばかりですが、手ごたえはあるので2週目も頑張ります！

October 8th,2023 Contacts

My eyesight is very weak, so I wear contacts.
目が悪いので、コンタクトレンズをしています。

I went to the eye doctor because I’ve become farsighted.
老眼になっているため、眼科に行きました。

I got a vision test, and I’ll renew my contacts.
視力検査を受け、コンタクトを新しくします。

October 9th, 2023 Sports day

Sports day is a national holiday in Japan.
体育の日は、日本の祝日です。

It’s celebrated on the second Monday in October.
それは10月の第2月曜日です。

I walked my dog far away today.
今日は遠くまで犬の散歩をしました。

October 10th, 2023 Decluttering

I’m aiming to live simple.
わたしはシンプルな生活を目指しています。

I need to declutter my house.
家の中を断捨離する必要があります。

I reorganized my closet today.
今日はクローゼットを整理しました。

October 11th, 2023 Autumn

It’s getting chilly in the mornings and evenings.
朝晩、肌寒くなってきました。

I feel like Autumn is around the corner.
秋がすぐそこまで来てるのを感じます。

I found pinecones and acorns on the street.
道でまつぼっくりやどんぐりを見つけました。

October 12th, 2023 Plant

I watered house plants.
観葉植物に水をあげました。

I live in an apartment on the river.
わたしは、川沿いのマンションに住んでいます。

It would be nice to start a balcony garden.
ベランダ菜園をできたらいいなぁ。

October 13th, 2023 Toilet paper

I cleaned up the bathroom.
トイレ掃除をしました。

We’re running out of toilet paper.
トイレットペーパーがなくなりそうです。

I have to go buy some toilet rolls.
トイレットペーパーを買いに行かなければ！

October 14th, 2023 Hot pot

We had seafood hot pot for dinner.
夕食に海鮮鍋を食べました。

I made broth from kelp.
昆布でだしをとりました。

Sea bream was delicious for me.
鯛がおいしかったです！
